25 February 2005  Kingswood Tower, Makati City  At the University of the Philippines, we assisted one other with our interior design theses. After college, we helped each other through the struggles and triumphs of building careers and families. This evening, we were old friends together again after five years.

Highlights

• Being stuck in the closet in a vain attempt to surprise the group: I was unaware that they were aware of and playing along with my scheme
• Seeing Conchita in very healthy spirits after battling a debilitating illness
• Driving Conchita to the airport and spending time afterwards with Weng, my constant companion in college
• Getting delirious over revelations of pre-marital love affairs
