Steered by singer and songwriter Mark Reilly (b. 1960), the group emerged in the UK jazz/pop scene in 1982 with the name of a fictitious spy plus the frenzy of dance and tropical sounds. Over twenty years later, Matt Bianco continues to evolve their brand of sophisticated pop music yet remaining true to the spirit of Central and South America.
